The field offers a large variety of opportunities and different career paths – if you’re interested in the more aesthetic-focused side of the job, there are opportunities with big firms to design larger destination areas or campus planning. If the environmental side is more your speed, Kelly says the field has expanded to include projects that focus on issues such as stormwater management, hydro corridors and more.
